Moonlight Basin West is a resort development across 970 acres at The Moonlight Basin Resort in Big Sky, Montana. The Project is located within the existing Moonlight Basin master-planned community, which started over 20 years ago and today comprises over 500 homes, recreational amenities, and a private club. The Project is adjacent to the existing 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, “The Reserve,” which was completed in 2015.
The Project is comprised of 36 residential units and 46 custom home that will provide direct golf and ski access to its owners. A new 30,000 square foot golf/ski clubhouse as well as 19 new golf holes will be built to further enhance the Moonlight Basin golf experience. Also included in the Project are new ski lifts, an upgraded golf practice facility, and additional skiing infrastructure.
The Project is currently underway and is expected to be completed in 2026.
